The Israeli-Palestinian conflict continues to escalate, much against the will of leaders on both sides. As options grow fewer, the feeling is one of Walls Closing In. Yet Hamas seems satisfied: every suicide attack, it proclaims, brings it closer to "the Destruction of the Zionist Entity." Our editorial holds that The Roots of the conflict Are Global, and so too will be the solution. Dr. Mudar Kassis, who has recently edited a book on the Second Intifada, gives Challenge a View from Inside. On the jobs front, WAC has entered its second year as a registered Non-Profit Association, defending workers' rights. To mark this occasion, the Registrar of NPA's, after being foiled in the first round, has opened his second Witch Hunt Against us. We ask for solidarity. In Galilee, Rosa, Jamila, Ruth and Dolores were at the center of a unique summer camp, focusing on the role of women in the struggle for freedom. "Yes, We Have No Bananas!" sing proud patients at a Zionism Treatment Center somewhere in the Caribbean. Their chant is heard as far as Durban, South Africa. Challenge takes a look at this new and occasionally successful therapy.
